where it starts

The room you use every day deserves to go first.

A bathroom is the best return on disruption in the whole house: in a fortnight you go from thirty-year-old tiles and a bath nobody uses to a room that's a pleasure every morning. In coastal flats it's also the first place the building shows its age — slow wastes, grout that goes black however hard you scrub, and that sea air damp that punishes anything that was never ventilated properly.

Which is why a bathroom isn't refurbished from the surface in. What decides how long it lasts is what you can't see: the tanking of the wet area, the wastes and their fall, new pipework instead of inherited pipework, and electrics with the protection a wet room demands. All of that is done by our own team — exactly the kind of job where having plumbing and electrics in-house shows.

the difference

No parade of trades through your home.

In a typical bathroom job four different firms come through the door: the one that strips it out, the plumber, the electrician and the tiler. Every gap between them is a day with the bathroom standing still — and every fault between two trades is a 'that's not my part'.

Here one team comes in, working to a calendar of days rather than 'roughly a few weeks'. The plumbing and the electrics are ours — registered low-voltage installer included — so on the day the tiling is finished nobody is waiting for anyone: the same team finishes, connects and hands over.

What people ask us

BEFORE WE START
How long does a complete bathroom take?

Ten to fifteen working days for the full job: strip-out, first fix, tanking, tiling and fitting. You get the date in writing before we start, and because the trades are ours the bathroom never sits idle waiting for somebody to be available.

Can I swap the bath for a walk-in shower?

It's the job we do most, and the one that changes daily life the most: more space, far less risk of a fall and a bathroom that looks twice the size. It means redoing the waste at the right level, tanking the wet area properly and re-tiling — not simply lifting one out and dropping the other in.

Do I need a permit for a bathroom in Alicante?

For a bathroom that doesn't touch the structure, a declaración responsable for minor works is normally enough. We prepare and file it as part of the job — you don't have to deal with any form.

Who does the plumbing and the electrics?

Our own team. A bathroom has more services per square metre than any other room: hot and cold, wastes, circuits with their own protection. Having the people who tank and tile also be the people who did the pipework is the difference between a bathroom that looks right and one that is right.

Will I be left without a bathroom?

If there's a second bathroom in the property we keep it working throughout. If it's the only one, we sequence the job so the WC is out of service for as few days as possible and we tell you in advance which days those will be.

What if there's hidden damp or a surprise behind the tiles?

In older coastal buildings, tired pipework and hidden damp are common. Reasonable technical surprises are inside our risk. If something needs a decision from you, we stop, explain it and quote it in writing before going on.

It can all be sorted.
